Nominate Community Champions for Best of Philanthropy Awards
Do you know someone that quietly does great things for others? Perhaps it’s a neighbor, friend or coworker. Or a local business, student or group that is making a real difference in the lives of others.
Central Carolina Community Foundation and Columbia Metropolitan Magazine have partnered to present the Third Annual Best of Philanthropy Awards, honoring the everyday people in our community who make giving back a priority for themselves, their family or their business. We need your help in identifying these local heroes!
The nomination process is simple. Simply fill out and submit this form, outlining the nominee’s efforts, the accomplishments generated and what makes the nominee unique. The deadline is July 13.

Awards will be given in five categories:
- Local Business/Business Owner
- Student/Student Group
- Family
- Individual
- Group
Each winner will be profiled in Columbia Metropolitan Magazine and honored at Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Annual Celebration in November. Additionally, honorees will receive a $500 donation made in their name to the nonprofit organization of their choice in the Foundation’s 11-county service area in the Midlands.
